a bit off topic as well here but do u have any experiece with the Injen intake, and if so can you or anyone else give me a comparison of the two in terms of sound and performance (or lack there of)? i just got an my04 an am looking to get an intake as my only mod so i wanna get a good one. i think either v2 or injen as i heard PRM looses too much power despite the prodigious sound. anyway, any advice is welcomed, and i am very happy to hear that you are so happy with your v2.

I don't know much about the injen other than I've heard very good things, and it looks cool. I believe it's quite a bit more expensive, no? (The V2 can be had for under $250 now)

I NEVER go through an auto car wash, but could you if you had a hard top? Not that I would EVER, but could you?

I don't take mine through commercial washes either, but it wouldn't be a problem from a V2 standpoint. The problem occurs when the intake tries to suck in air when it's submerged. As the car is not running when it passes through the wash, (Or at least it shouldn't be) it can't suck any water into the intake. Just make sure the filter didn't get soaked before starting it.

Have some fun... wash it yourself
