Nope, not at all. As I mentioned, I think the throttle response is better. (as long as you're in the right gear) The '04 is a better low/mid range engine, and that could make a dif. The 00-03's are decidedly weak below 4k so we choose gears a bit differently from '04s.
I think exhaust should improve it even more as it would benefit from breathing better at both ends simultaneously. It's just my opinion, though. I certainly don't have any hard data to back it up.

Off topic, but I love the old-school shift knob!
Back on topic: glad you're so happy with the intake. I don't think I'll ever do an AEM CAI again though. Although I never actually had a problem in the rain with one on my Integra, I was always nervous going out in a downpour. I just don't need the stress any more!

I was concerned about water too, but fortunately... it rains very little in LA
Tom; I didn't have a V1 before, but I have a few friends who do. I honestly don't know if it would be worth switching from a V1 to a V2. From a performance standpoint, I can't believe it would be all that much better. (Maybe 1-2 HP, although I do like the sound of the V2 a lot more.)

Thanks I'm not really sure if it's louder than the V1, (probably not) but it's definitely more agressive and throatier. I'm guessing it's from the dual tubing that give it that reverberating effect. It's almost musical.
