Use the AEM instructions as a quick overview, but most think they suck. See my webpage for some helpful hints and pics.

I love aem but that huge hole in the engine bay that remains just kills me...have you considered the comptech?

Do you think the AEM CAI is better than an K&N AirCharger...actually I think I know it is, but is it thaat much better?

oh yeah, is there anyway to install the AEM without cutting a hole into the car?

All you have to do is trim some of the panel down by the passenger side wheel well. Really not that much at all, I used a dremel.

will this block a lot of water from getting in as well? because i've been reading a lot that the bypass valve defeats the purpose of a CAI

No, it's not true. It's impossible to happen if you do not drive in the rain or through the puddles!

So does the bypass valve negate the gains provided by the CAI?

B/c if I can just be careful about what i drive through, then I should be ok without a bypass valve correct?
