AEM CAI, a quick question for all who installed it.

Remedied the problem by slipping some plumbing pipe insulation over the metal beam between the intake pipe, problem solved. Going to trim it back and make it pretty today. Of course I had to by 4 48" pieces in a pack for just 4" that I needed.

I agree that a STB on this car is nothing but bling-bling but the x-brace has noticeable improvements on the street and track.

Thanks for the info from MUZ, Steve and Ludedude. I may just negate the STB and pickup an X-brace. Then again, it's all about the bling-bling.
