advice needed please
i was driving home this morning around 12:30 am. i was going about 70 mph in a 50 zone, and there were 10+ other cars on the road. i was in the left lane with 2 other cars infront of me, with the rest in the right lane. a cop was on the right side of the road, everyone braked at the same time, there were 2 cars directly blocking me from the cop. he turned on his lights and pulled me over and said he clocked me at 75, which was BS. i didnt ask him to see the radar because i was too shaken to think straight. im only 17 and this was my first ticket, and my parents are pissed. i need advice on what to do and say in court to help me get out of this.

It is your fault for being out that late at night - shame on you!
just kidding, You have the option of retaining a lawyer to prevent points.
Find out what it would cost for the lawyer vs. the ticket and factor in the possible increase in your insurance premium.
Barry is correct in getting yourself a good radar detector - mine paid for itself in the first week of ownership! It's not foolproof but it sure as hell helps warn you.
My best friend is an Attorney and here in Florida there are many little known requirments your Attorney can ask of the officer and his equipment such as they have to provide calibration certificates on the radar or equipment - most officers shrug their shoulders when asked by the attorney and case dissmissed. this could vary widely state to state but here in Florida a good attorney will most always help you out.
good luck!
