Adjusting Clutch Play/Pedal

Adjusting Clutch Play/Pedal
Hey Everyone,
I really dislike the play at the top of the clutch pedal release....
How can I adjust the pedal to get rid of the play?
I appreciate all feedback, Thanks.

In my opinion, if the car is shifting fine, you should really leave it alone. Keep in mind, if you take away some of the free play of the pedal, you will increase the height of the engagement point of the clutch. If you still want to take away some of the free play, follow the procedure I have pointed out below. Don't take away too much of the free play or else your preload the pedal and may cause your clutch to slip.
Behind the clutch pedal, there's a 12MM nut on a rod. You'll see it behind and slightly above the pedal portion of the assembly. There's a rod that goes into the firewall. After you loosen the nut, put a little presure on the pedal and rotate the rod clockwise or counter clockwise depending on if you want to increase or decrease pedal play. Re-tighten the 12MM nut.
Be VERY careful with your adjustment.

honestly ... I just left mine as stock. That's one of the things I really don't feel comfortable fiddlign around with. If you really want to lower the engagement point, you may choose to put in a cylinder of different size ...
