added 1 qt. at 2800 Mi. is this in the normal range ?

My car has 11,000 miles and burns about 1qt per thousand miles. The dealer says that Honda told them that this amount is normal. Has anyone else been told this? I was expecting it to level off by now.

Not to sh!t in anyones Cheerios, but I VTEC a butt load and I've never had to add any between oil changes (every 5K)

The weaker feel could likely be from warmer intake temps more so than from the oil.

Does anyone know what exactly is the "within spec." limits on this??? Or, how honda defines normal oil consumption?
