Accident with S2000 after 1 day
#13
sorry man. i feel ya. i crashed my S couple weeks ago, just like Jakub's and she came out spanking brand new from the shop yesterday.
It was only 3month after i got her.
You will feel so miserable for a while but it will heal for sure.
You know, just thank that your body is still one piece.

"Everything happens for a reason" is also a thing that I believe in...
Have I changed?
Have I learned?
I hope God will show me the way... because I'm just a young boy...
I must learn before someone dies...

Mine might sound like I'm patronizing you, sorry if it comes out that way, but I'm only responding to you that way because you wrote :

ya...no big deal, it really is only money, and only a car. There is much more to life and things will get better over time. Post some pictures so we can try and guess if it looks fixable or not. I crashed my S2000 over a year ago, not the same way, and not entirely my fault, and I had full coverage insurance, so my situation was not as bad. But, just keep working, make more money fix or salvage the car and move on

i am guessing this was your first bad accident. you should be afraid of driving for a while, it is natural for this...give yourself patience and understanding. it was an accident, we learn from them.
later, you will find that you have become a more safe driver, perhaps slower...after than you should feel better about driving and drive a little faster, but with more respect for what can happen.
you are fine, your car can be fixed or replaced. that is important. just go drive when you are ready and take it easy at first, time and experience will help you with all of this.
many people has spun the honda, it is easy to do, and when spinning it is easy to over correct and loose control, it takes plenty of track time and seat time to become a good driver. the honda can be a challenge to drive fast. a miata is not...you may want one of those now as it is cheaper and alot of fun and easier to control at limit. someday you will have the honda again if you want.
