You can't really gauge how much you're insurance will cost you. The best bet is to call your insurance agent and find out how much it will cost if you get a particular car.
Insurance rates are highly dependent on car, current record, any applicable discounts (multiple car, garage, good student, etc), age, gender, and location. Location is a huge factor on insurance rates. So asking what other people pay will not really be accurate.

yea, just remember you buy tires more like previously stated.
And insurance isnt too bad. I pay 70 full coverage and i got mine when i was 19, and im now only 20. Most people are around that range.

I'm 21, no accident/claim and no tickets yet. My insurance charges $150 per month only with third party coverage. I don't have any relatives or parents in america. You people are luck to have insurance under your parents.
You'll be fine with maintance. It's a Honda.
ntzz, make sure you check with the interest rate before buying the S. I figured out how expensive is my interest after couple months I bought the S. I ended up with >$34000 for my 06' with that sky high interest!
Learn my lesson.

You guys are going to laugh at me at this one. Plus all the cars were under my moms name.
I had my first S at the age of 17 and I had to pay 500 bucks a month for insurance. Full coverage from state farm. I think they freaking ripped me off. Didn't have any tickets and I had the good student discount at the time.
Funny thing is it wasn't only the S that was expensive but also my civic and rx7.
99 Civic was 120 bucks for liability. And my rx7 was 180 bucks for liability also.
Just get quoted first to be on the safe side.

Please include things like new tires almost yearly: $500-1000.
Because otherwise you have to budget for collision repairs....
