You know what's better than hitting 9,000 rpm? Hitting 9,000 rpm with a single 70mm exhaust! That's music to my ears! Even better when you have walls on the side of the road, where the sounds bounce back to you. I can't get enough. I have even considered modifiying the engine to rev it to 10,000 rpm

I think I would prefer hitting 9k in an s2000 more than in a Mustang, because with the Mustang, hitting 9k will probably lead to a rebuild

Perfectly stated.

Face goes from " Bad ass grin" to "Oh crap where are the cops"

Haha

Yea 9,000 rpms def gets you noticed its so loud. If I go past 6k its def going all the way to 9. Thats one of the things i love about this car is that its got two faces. You can drive it around all day under 6k and its still got power and its very smooth and drives nice. Then on the other hand you take it past 6k up to 9 and its a complete monster its like it transforms. So awesome 9k FTW

I hit it on the way to work, during lunch break, and after work.

I VTEC often, but extending it out to 9k I may do once for each trip. I usually shift at 8300. However, when I'm in the mood, and the tach hits the 9k and the red lights up, it's definatly a big smile!

it's been more addictive with the addition of the PRM intake.

Sometimes I'll drive down regular city blocks at 7800k just for the hell of it. It's awesome.
