Somewhat useless trivia:
Pre '04 the max piston speed 4906 feet per minute at 8900 rpm, whereas the '04's peak at about 4761 feet per minute at 8000 rpm.

The cylinder liner material is called FRM for Fiber Reinforced Metal. The F20C also uses this material, as does the NSX and the last generation Prelude.
