I just passed 16k on my 06 bought it with 15k in april, don't plan on selling it until it is a classic or the wheels fall off.

With simple calculation, your only at about 6.9k miles a year.. which... is... very ... low. Don't be so worried. If your worried about the mileage to the point that it affects your decisions to drive it, sell it and get something with higher mileage.

I feel for you OP, my 06 went from 8800km to 28000km's in 12 months of ownership... I went out and got a DD for the boring drives in traffic on the freeway to work, whilst the S sleeps tight in the garage. Driving it has now become so much more sweeter....btw clocked up over 3000 kms so far in the DD....EVEN SWEETER!!!

For example: If you have an '03 with 70,000 miles, the "value" of your car dropped by about 29 cents a mile since it was new. If you had 150,000 miles on it instead, the additional miles would only depreciate the car by 4.6 cents per mile (using trade-in values at Kelly Blue Book).

Age depreciates a car much more than miles. The alternative would be to sell the car, and buy something newer that will depreciate at an even faster rate.

I have 144,000 miles on my '03 and it runs just as good as when it was new.
