600mile break in, did you follow the rules?

Did everyone follow the 600 mile break in religously or have a few of you pushed it into VTEC prematurely? Reprecussions? I'm at 200 miles and dying to hit it!

For the most part. My girlfriend is the primary driver, and waited the 600 miles before going into VTEC. There were many trips above the speed limit, but never over ~5800RPM.
I drove it last night for the first time since the break in. I had never driven a VTEC car before and I must say I was blown away. It's like the car stops rolling and starts G L I D I N G down the road. Every time I step on the gas, I say to myself "How the hell can that be a 4 cyl engine??!"
