Just as the topic says: is this a good price?

The first thing you have to ask yourself is 'What are they telling you invoice price is?' versus 'What really is the invoice price?'
The invoice price isn't really the price that the car is going to cost the dealership. Quite often, the manufacturer agrees to charge the dealership more at delivery, then provide a refund of some of that money after the sale. This gives them the ability to tell you they're selling the car at or below invoice and still make money off it.
When the dealer agrees to sell you the car below invoice, they're agreeing to cut down on their share of the rebate.
They generally only do this when they have some other angle up their sleeve.
Find out from several unrelated, nonbiased sources (such as www.edmunds.com, who currently states that the MSRP for an '07 S2000 is $34,250 and the invoice price is $31,009)what the real invoice price is and then make your decision from there.
Oh, and remember that the dealership will gouge you mercilessly for accessories. They don't even have to pretend they're giving you a fair price on those, much less admit to invoice pricing...

Follow up...there are a couple members who are dealers and will sell you a new one at just under $29,000...just do a little searching and it will likely require travel (depending on your location).
