you want a car that dosen't tocuh pavement untill its payed for? try an exotc. not a honda. geat real people. 41 miles is just fine.
imsure those 41 miles got on their from the 17 year old mechanic they got, taking it out for test drives, keeping it in first, driving around town at 9000rpm non stop.
maybe the dealer gave the keys to a 16 year old kid as a test drive and let him go out solo.
maybe...

Mine had 240+ miles when I took delivery. My dealer had to go get it from another dealer over 200 miles away. They offered for me to go along and drive it back with their guy in the passenger seat. I had no problem with their guy driving it back, putting the first miles on the car. It's a car, it is built to be driven. Do I know if it was VTEC'd before I got it? No, I don't, nor do I really care. Break-in procedures are debatable - I have seen absolutely zero evidence that VTEC before 600 miles hurts anything anyway. Some say break-in an engine like you'll use it - I've heard old drag racers say that's the way on a new engine. Others say baby the thing until exactly 600.00 miles, then let it bounce off the limiter risk-free, as if something magical happens at 600 miles. I don't see that much difference. 41 miles is nothing, buy the car if you like it. Do you really think none of these engines are run above 6000 RPM at the factory?
