I bought mine used with 19k on it. Besides the clutch TSB that MY01's had, I haven't had any major problems with it. Buy it... Believe me, you're going to drive the living hell out of it anyways!

A < $31000 MY04 Suzuka with 10 miles on it from hardtopguy seems like a no brainer too me.

Oh, my MY02 had about 32 miles on it when I picked it up, no problems with it.

My first S2000 had 37 miles when I bought it, the thing burned oil constantly.

My second S2000 had a dozen miles on it when I bought it....it hardly burns a drop.

Don't listen to all those telling you not to worry.....it isn't their car, which makes them much more cavalier about handing out advise.

Dont take it, when I got my 02 it had 4mi on it. I would not have taken the car if it had 15+ mi. I would accept up to 15.

I think you should drive the car, enjoy the drive. Make sure everything feels SPECATCULAR. If so, buy it. It's not a ENZO. It's just the price, you to need re-engage negotiations.

A new car which has 50 "demo" miles on the opometer, has for all intents and purpose been taken to the track and raced 50 miles. But it is even worse than that because it was not done by someone who knows what they are doing on a race track, but by a bunch of clowns who have no clue how to drive.

So essentially what we have is a used car. A car with 50 racing miles on the car, probably has the equivalent of 2-3000 miles of normal use not recorded on the odometer.

Now, a used S2000 with 3000 miles are selling somewhere in the neighborhood of $27,000.

That is what you should pay, if you like to play Russian Roulette.
