There are proven facts that both the ap1 and ap2 would be a drivers race for 1/4 mile times, one is not any faster than the other. If you were racing from a roll then it would depend on the starting speed. Do some research before you start making false claims

The best 1/4 mile time for a stock AP1 is 13.6 and the best 1/4 mile time for a stock AP2 is 13.6. That means both are equal. Maybe he is a bad driver, maybe he has "bling bling" 18" wheels or some other dumb mod that is making his car slower.

and a/b the quarter mile times: I've seen 13.7s w/ stock FD gears and light mods....4.57 is only getting 13.3?
