Do you mean the 4.57 are a better choice than the 4.44, 4.77 or both? So did the guys like me, who bought the 4.77 get hosed somehow or this just a matter of opinion?

Thanks for the the clarification.... I've been beating the drum for the 4.77 (I LOVE THEM) so I wanted to make sure I wasn't steering anyone wrong.

actually, I'm curious-- are there any gears offered that still keep a nice tall 6th for hwy cruising, but have a higher ratio for some good low-end oomph? that'd really be the best of both worlds, but I might be missing something technical with the synchro.

Steve I drove your car before and after we did the swap. You made a good choice. The 4.57 just gives people another choice for there driving style and what they want from the car.
