Default 4.57 production on schedule, gear sets will ship in early February

I talked to the manufacturing director at Richmond Gear yesterday and the work on the 4.57 gear sets is on schedule. As we anticipated, the gear sets will come out of production at Richmond by the end of this month. The gears will ship immediately to PolyDyn for treatment, which should take about another week. Accordingly, we anticipate that all 4.57 gear set orders will ship the week of February 10. Orders will ship in the order they were received.

We currently have 4.3s and 4.77s in stock. 4.44s are no longer available, and the new 4.57s are a better choice anyway.

I'm waiting eagerly myself to get the new 4.57 in my own car

Rick, If one were to place an order today when can they expect it to arrive at their doorstep, based on all the pre-orders?

We are shipping orders in order of receipt, and we have about 20 people on a waiting list. Richmond is manufacturing enough gear sets for about a year's worth of demand, so if you order now, you should receive the gears at your doorstep no later than the end of February.

PolyDyn is a special coating for added durability. Richmond Gear recommended it. Here's a link to their web site: http://www.polydyn.com/hpec.htm

This is part of the installation and why you need a quailfied installer.
