Here is a good link to check about the 3M clear bra. The sooner you get it installed the better. I basically had mine installed before I ever drove the car. You'll only see the clear bra if you seriously try to look for it. Its a bit pricey but worth every penny.

In my experience, it shows much more on silver and black. Bright colors like white, yellow, and red hide it fairly well. You can see it pretty easily on your car.
