350 or s2000

Both are drivers' cars, just a question of what kind of driver are you?

drove my buddy's old 350Z before....
felt like a japanese muscle...heavy and lots of torque....
but his looked nice tho, consider only had front lip, 19" TE....
he got tired of it and moved on to something else after a short while of ownership....

Yeh Nissan continually improves the 350z each year unlike the s2000. The 07+ year will take care of the s2k in performance. It used to be a drivers race.
One thing I don't like is the # of 350z's I see..........They are everywhere though and the bodystyle...#s are good for the aftermarket though.
I would be interested in an 08 if they changed the body style to seperate it from 03-07. Power is def there now.

I agree about Nissan improving the 350Z every year. The new '07 350Z seems pretty nice with the 306hp V6 and interior improvements.
I'd actually test drive one now before deciding to buy an S2000 or 350Z. Back in '05, I didn't even waste my time testing a 350Z.

I thought long and hard about which one I wanted. It was a tough decision for me, but there were some glaring differences. If you want a convertible, the S is much cheaper than the Z convertible. Also the convertible Z looks . The proportions are all wrong. Also the interior on the Z is terrible. The material looks like something they would use in an Escort. And lastly, but most importantly, while it would have been fun to do burnouts in the Z, the S is just much more fun to drive. So, it adds up that the S is a MUCH better value. Plus I like being the only Suzuka Blue S in my city as opposed to blending in with the 50 Zs.

I would go with the s2000. My brother has a s2000. I hate convertibles so I went with a 2007 350z. They improved the interior and the engine is better as well as the transmission. The car is huge compared to the s2000. I use the 350z as a daily driver. If my brother didn't already own the s2000 I would have bought it. The s2000 is the drivers car. It has an awesome transmission and wonderful engine. Its so easy to throw it around. The s2000 is a true sports car. The 350z is a GT. It just depends on what kind of car you are looking for.
