^ I'm curious to know what your NA w/ a 3" exhaust puts down, keep us posted. I can only imagine how loud it must be on a NA car though.
can't wait to see the numbers though

With no muffler and no resonator it will sound like ass.
There will be a buzzing sound that will vibrate in your skull at around 4000 rpms, in traffic it will make you nausea as it vibrates the fluid in your inner ear.
I would not recommend it.

I have been told by reputable sources (high hp engine builders for over ten years) that a straight piece of 3" OD pipe is large enough to flow 900 hp worth of exhaust gas. Add a few gentle bends and let's say it still flows good enough for 800 hp. You will need one HELL of an NA F20C to flow 500 hp let alone 8-900.
I hope your header collector is 3" otherwise you still have a bottle neck...

It's amazing the sound level difference between engines. My 5SFE has no muffler (just the factory cats) and is quieter than an S2k with the HKS catback.

so if my stock header has a 2.5 opening, I would need to get 2.5 test pipe with 2.5 inch piping for a custom exhaust correct? I would not be able to use 2.75 or 3 inch with my Apexi N1 muffler?
