Default Is $28k OTD for 04 yellow s2k 20k miles..

It's from dealership and it's not honda certified as the dealer is not honda. That's how much they are asking. Since I am going to finance the car, I can't really save on tax by buying from private party or dealer (well, from private party maybe about $500 saving since I am not gonna do 100% financing, so I will just finance x amount of $ and maybe ask the seller to put the sale value at my financing number and pay rest with my cash)

What do you think? If it's too much, how much do you think is a fair price?

IMHO, if you're going to pay 28 grand for a car with 20,000 miles, then you might as well pay 30 grand or so for a brand new one.

Personally, I wouldn't pay over 25K. Do what feels good to you.

28k OTD (including tax, license, everything)

for brand new 05, i can get 32k OTD (so it's like $4k difference)

I am going to counter with 26k OTD, dunno what they will say

Oh, I live in California, so I have to pay tax for cars whether buying it used or new, dealer or private party

$25k + TTL = ~$27k OTD

yeah, $30k with tax and license will come out to $33k in california. I already have a deal for $32k but I am still waiting for the car to arrive in dealership, so in the mean time, i m still browsing used car section

I got my Red '04 w/ 14,000 miles back in April, from a dealer in Fontana (SoCal). Honda certified, overall mint condition. $26.5K out the door. Price had recently been reduced from $28,995. It had been sitting on the lot for a while, I think.
