245's on stock rims?

Since you guys are on this topic, what kind of tires would you recommend for 17*8 rear, 17*7 front Volk racing wheels. Its just for normal street use, and I'm looking for longest tread life, traction comparable to SO2's, but a little cheaper in price. Also, what dimensions should I get for the tires.

You are right, I kept the tread width in the same proportion as stock which I think works well (the autox guys are forced into 225

GOing with 205/245 combo when not on the OEM tires is probably about right since the OEM rears are really 245's.

I've had my 245/45R16 S02 PP's on the rear for about 10000 miles now. They are almost shot.

3 track days, 10k miles, and they worked great.

18x8 et+55 225/40 18"x10 et+67 275/35
lowered about 3-4"
is this setup ok?

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, 245 rear, 225 fronts on OEM 16" wheels on my MY03, with Espelir springs. Work great, no rubbing, superb on the track.

+67 on a 10" wide rim lowered 4" you should be rubbing big time.
