I like my AP1 front bumper with factory lip a whole lot better. The obsession with giant looking grill openings is a fad that won’t age well imo. Both the AP1 and AP2 are much better designs me thinks.

A few pics from a few months ago of the car with this bumper on the road made the thing look pretty nice. Now that you can see a high resolution close up, not so nice.

It’s all purely subjective. Be it an AP1 or an AP2, I personally prefer these cars with their original bumper covers, free of the lips. The OEM AP1 lip looks okay, but I can’t figure out what Honda was thinking when they designed the AP2 lip, that thing is an embarrassment in my opinion. Like I said, it’s all subjective. If you like the way the new bumper cover looks and want one badly enough to go for it then why worry about what anyone else thinks?

Not subjective that new front cover is an absolute disgrace whoever designed such and ugly thing should be fired. I wish they wouldve designed a modern hood with cooling vents and channels instead.
