Default 2008 CR "Peak Power Indicator"

Ok...so I am reading the 2008 Honda S2000 brochure and I am looking at the specs comparing the CR to the regular S, and I notice under instrumentation....the CR has with its tachometer, a "Peak Power Indicator."

There is no other mention of it in the brochure. So...what exactly is this feature? Is it just a VTEC indicator? I must know!!

I believe it is a tiny LED light in the dash that flashes as you reach peak power (which is what, 7200 on an AP2? forgive my ignorance) then goes solid.
