...now, about the XGA....not real right?
sorry to seem gullible.
sorry to seem gullible.
Some of us wish it were, though, 'cause that thing looks sweet!
As a general rule, dont believe anyone except Honda about questions like this. Even if a person claims that their mother's uncle's, brother in law is Mr. Honda, dont believe it.
edit: let me put a disclamer on that last statement. I mean a press release by Honda. I dont mean a honda dealer as they dont know sh!t about it either. They will happily tell you model 0X is the last year if it will make you consider buying it.

You should not be apologizing for anything, but that's your choice. Your post was an obvious JOKE! You can't help it if the guy has the sense of humour of a turnip. What I'm really sorry about is that I didn't see this thread first. If he got pissed at your reply, he would have absolute shit himself if he had seen mine.

Actually, there is a source for some of these rumors. The April, '06 issue of Road & Track mag reported that the XGA (pic included) was to be the replacement for the S 2000, "when the S 2000 is discontinued." Conveniently, the mag article gave no estimated date for the S 2000's departure.
I doubt the truthfulness of this article. For one thing, nobody at AHM would ever call the XGA a "replacement" for the S 2000. XGA is a coupe, to be powered by a V8 or V10 engine, and built on the much larger Acura RX platform, as per the article. Clearly, in no way a "replacement" for a lightweight roadster like the S 2000! Not a roadster. Way too big and heavy. More of a competitor for the beefy Mercedes V8 and V 12 CL series coupes than for the S 2000!
Thanks,
Richard

OK, enough small talk. The point of all this is that you need to get the nuances of every forum you visit. Each one has its "wagon loads" of the same questions year after year. After a while, those who have been here for a while see these questions as being derived from a lack of familiarity with some of the most basic questions asked in any forum. If you are a long time user of your Z forum, don't tell me that you don't have the same sort of repetitive, inane questions on your board and don't tell me that the veteran residence of your board have not been known to answer in similar ways.
If you've been around the internet any length of time, you should be fully aware that humour can cut through the anonimity of hiding behind a keyboard. If you ain't got any or can't grasp it, you're doomed.
