2006 S2000 Information
When does Honda typically announce a new model year and the changes that will accompany it? It seems that models for the next year usually start showing up around summertime which means announcements for it should appear in the next month or two, correct? Just curious - I'm eager to see if there will be any mechanical/visual changes or new paint options for '06 before I buy an '05.

My car salesman told me that '05 was the last year of production right as I was contemplating a new car purchase on his lot. Thank goodness he told me in time.
Seriously, the GM of my dealership confirmed that also. I tend to want to believe the General Manager, but then again....I'm still waiting for them to install the subwoofer that was going to be installed before I picked up the car.
I guess I should qualify the above statement...upon careful questioning he said that you would not be able to get an "S2000" in '06, but did admit that a Honda convertible might still be available. So......maybe Honda's gonna rename it the Z 2200?

Let's not turn this into the weekly "200_ will be the last year of production" post. This comes up weekly. We have been hearing that "this year is the last year" for several years now. Unless you KNOW something, let's keep the speculation out of here.
