Sorry Patty. I think you are the only one who likes the new wheels. I don't hate them or anything, just like the 04/05 wheels better. Hell, I like the 04/05's well enough that even though there are some after market wheels I like better, the OEMs suit me just fine.

I like the new 06 wheels also kinda like luxury feel to it like the Z4 wheels.

It took me til now, having seen the 06 rims, to appreciate the 04-05s. How hard is it to design sporty-looking wheels? A 4th grader could do it...

I drove a z4 today with DBW... I didn't know it was DBW until I just looked it up. I even thought about it when I was driving trying to see if there was any funny feeling to it. Naturally when you first drive a car for the first time it feels weird but I didn't recognize any weird throttle response to make me hate DBW... at least yet..

I can not believe you said that . A guy here at work has a Z4 and every time I walk by his car I just think to myself, "Self, are those not some of the most hideous looking wheels ever to be put on a car?" (self nods head in agreement and then shakes it back and forth in utter disbelief) But hey, I'm glad you like them . I do agree with you though, the new '06 wheels do have a somewhat similar design although not nearly as exceptionally bad as the Z4's are....

As for the changes to the '06 S go, the only thing that would really appeal to me is the VSA since the S is my daily driver and I live in PDX where it rains a lot. You never know when some mofo is going to cut right out in front of you on the freeway or when you're going to hit a patch of standing water etc. I would probably leave it on during the rainy season and just flip it off when the pavement was dry (or when it was wet and I just wanted to have a little fun ).

Which Z4 rim set do they look like? I know they offered about 20 (exaggerating) options for rims on the Z4, my Dad's car looks good but I've seen some that are total hideous.
