BTW- Brake assist is supposed to even out the balance of braking, so your front brakes don't do all the work.

Brake Assist
Brake Assist helps drivers apply full braking pressure in an accident avoidance situation. In an emergency braking situation when the brakes are suddenly applied, brake assist helps the driver apply full braking force via the ABS actuator. A pressure sensor detects an increase in brake fluid pressure and activates the ABS system. Braking pressure is maintained momentarily after the driver's initial braking action to help the driver stop promptly.
Importantly, Brake Assist assists the driver in obtaining full braking performance in an emergency. The Brake Assist system deactivates when the driver releases pressure on the brake pedal.

Has anyone heard if the remote entry/alarm buttons will be integrated with the key instead of a fob?
I think Brake Assist is that sudden lunging I get occasionally when making stops in my '04 Accord. It will apply more braking when I don't really want it/need it and the car will suddenly lurch forward. It is rare though.

i think honda finally decide upon making it more user friendly with the redesigned headrest and VSA (not to mention the 2.2L *upgrade* in MY04)
the seat looks great but the i would imagine the people that tracks their car often would find the *old* head rest more to their comfort with the helmet on.
VSA is great for the less-than-perfect weather. here's the thing. you can't get the most out of the car's performance with VSA on. But if you crashed the car when you turned off your VSA, then you will kick yourself in the behind even more cause the VSA could have saved your behind and you turned it off at your own will. so i don't know if VSA is a good thing or not.
and i am hoping that they will do the drive-by-wire throttle good, laggy throttle respond will kill a good engine and transmission.
i wished honda would make the car lighter instead of making it heavier. too bad they think a lighter car won't sell as good as a heavier one with more features. i say don't try to chase Z4 or boxer on features, just make a car that can out run them.

Oh my god...
I am so glad I got a 05 and from the looks of it my next car will not be another S.
why did honda change everything that made this car unique and add nothing that would make it better?
the wheels are as gay as it gets.

Interesting to see how some people whine even though they dont know what they are whining about. Once you have tested the car with the new systems and then find out you dont like it, I can understand, but now???
