I like what Honda has done

They are appealing to a broader audience and putting very subtle changes that would make it easier to compete against the more luxurious sports cars.

Honda is very smart - they captured the driving enthusiasts with the AP1 and are moving toward more people with the AP2's......you have to give them a on their business model.

I notice they list an optional blue soft top - have they offered that in the past?

Yep - that's been around since 2002 or 2003.

Thank you for posting the new brochure!

While I am really bummed to not have the outside temperature indicator in my 2005, I am glad I bought when I did.

Looks like I got the last MY that has the black/red interior with the Sebring exterior. The headrest speakers would have been nice, too.

Otherwise, I am glad I did what I did.

The 06 wheels do not look like the 05 wheels. The 10 spoke pattern might be the same but the design of the spokes is completely opposite. The 05 wheels look more aggressive and they are tapered similat to work emotions/mf10s. The 06 wheels look like tsx/accord wheels.

The seats loss there Recaro style sportiness and look like they belong on a civic. The steering wheel looks pretty cool although not as cool as the 00-03.

The only pluses IMO is VSA more speakers and a longer warranty.

Im glad i got an 05.

It's funny that everyone mocks the new car. It's always the case. I remember when I switched from Ap1 to Ap2, everyone called it an "UNPURE CAR". What's so unPURE about:

There is nothing unpure about more HP. (Church Automotive and TOV both ran tests on my car) Most of the Track Junkies are switching to 2.2'.

Now that this is accepted, 00-05 are pure. Now 06 is watered down.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

TCS/VSC/ What ever they want to call it, is not a new revolutionary thing. HIGH profile Ferrari's has them, moderate cars like 350Z have them, and now us. As a CO of socal, I've seen at least 20-30 accidents because of "lack of traction" this is what I like to call "FISHTAIL"

If you like what got, that's great. If you don't upgrade. I didn't I upgraded. The only people who can call this car watered down, UN PURE is those who owned both cars. (ME).

Accept it. Cars get better. They don't get worst. Honda is a smart empire. There are reasons why they do such things.

Here is a picture of HONDA of JAPAN flying down to my MEGAmeet, to ask owners Q&A for improvements of the car.

Relax, and enjoy. We are all S2000's. Don't be ignorant, and "diss" other owners. Doing that....No CLASS. Respect others.

The rims are BARELY different than the current AP2 rims. I had to look twice before I noticed.
Well, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and such, but the 06 wheels look COMPLETELY different to me, and different in a bad way. I'll hold final judgement until I see them in person, but from the pic ...

As for the other stuff, I'm definitely intrigued by the roll bar speakers. And if the passenger side airbag can be disabled now, that would be great. Of course, it all depends on how easily (and economically) these new features can be retrofitted into a pre-06.

Not diggin the rims at all, the 04-05 rims look sporty because they were thin spoked. These look so thick and heavy. As far as VSC why not have something that can save your life especially when you can disable it?
