Metallic flake.......
Negative. Pearl is coating of it's own. In different lighting, the pearl will show itself. Most likely, the pearl on blue will give it a purple/blue affect instead of a flat blue.

Metallic is just that, Metallic.

That's a good point, slalom44, and means that it will be even more complicated and possibly impossible to retrofit earlier AP2s with VSA. I was thinking that I would like VSA but didn't want the drive by wire. Now it seems like you can't have VSA without an electronic throttle.

I've got a 1997 Z3 that has what BMW calls ASC. It's supposed to transfer power to straighten-out the car if the back-end starts to slide. The Z3 has mechanical throttle linkage, but I imagine that ASC is different technology from VSA. BTW, the Z3 has a disable switch for the ASC. Although I haven't driven the Z3 on ice, I've been told that the car is squirrely as hell on ice if the ASC isn't disabled.

Isn't it about 3am for you? I'll have to do it tomorrow - the computer is going down for the evening. What dpi do you want the scans?

VSA seems it can be turned on/off so its a non-issue.

Blue Laguna looks very much like the Long Beach Blue of the NSX as I predicted.

Finally I don't like the new wheels and seats.

Second thought, I like 04-05 seat than 06 seat
And I just comparing side-by-side 05 to 06 features, 06 DOESNT HAVE floor mats as standard. I guess it's an optional equipment?

I may only have 10K on my 04, but I saw this thread and called my Honda dealer to order a whitle/black 06 (he will check into it first thing Monday). In the midwest, I want that vcs for the snow to go with my blizzaks.

Anyone need a blk/blk 04?
