No FI for the '06 yet, but Hondata is working on ECU programming or possible k-pro for it. It's just a matter of time before FI is available for the '06.

does anybody know how aggressively the VSC kicks in? does it not let any wheel slippage?

it activates late enough to allow a large percentage of the fun.
30-40+ degrees on a tail-out... i didn't notice much if anything in the launch, but i didn't pin it. it was a 4,000 rpm clutch drop on car with ~120miles.

boy are they nice fkn cars....

edit:

it's VSA/TCS by the way.

I was at a bar tonight and tried to power through first gear pretty quick to hit vtec to have some fun. The VSC came on at 4000 and stopped me from accelerating and it made me look like i couldn't drive stick when it slowed all the way down. I didn't drop the clutch or anything, just put it in first and put the pedal to the metal.

I was not impressed.

Saying that though, it is nice to know it works

Why were you not impressed? The system was doing what it was designed to do.

i dunno guy.... sounds like your car was cold and the fuel cut slowed you down. this has been a feature on the S since day one. folks always find out when they decide to VTEC their cold S2000??? the first guy who told me the story said his car was outside running for 5 minutes... but even still, he was still in the doggone parking lot.

not impressed.

it's 5000rpm on my Si, just like the AP1, but in the Si it always activates if you're in neutral.
