2004 Silverstone/Red, new member from Montreal, Canada.
Hi everyone, i'm a new member here. I am located in the Montréal area, Canada.
I just bought a 2004 Silverstone with Red interior, with 120k km.
I didn't had the chance to drive it yet since it's still winter big time here in Canada.
To be honest, I never drive an S2000 but i'm pretty sure it's great.
In early april I will probably be able to test drive it for real.
I always want an S but it was a slow process for me.
During the last 2 years, I bought 2 Nsx, a 1991 and a 2000 with a 2002 conversion.
I spend time modding theses car the way I want, so the project for an S2000 stayed on the side a little bit.
In January I found this 2004 and I believe it was the one for me.
Price was reasonable and the previous owner seems to took good care of the car.
It was lightly modded but nothing irreversible.
I am more an OEM type of guy.
I think the AP2 is one of the best design achievement for Honda and the look of this version of the car is just timeless.
The car came dropped, a little bit too much imo, with a T1R 63mm exhaust and with a square set of Black Enkei RPF1 17 x 8.5, 225 in front and 245 in rear.
I don't want to hurt anyone here, but I am not a fan of black wheels.
I bought a set of OEM 04+ V1 and I have also a set of silver Work CR, my NSX spare set that I think will look also really nice on the car.
I am not sure yet which set i'm gonna install.
Work Cr spec are 17 x 8 and 18 x 9.5 with 215/40 and 265/40.
I also ordered from Teknotik in Toronto (really less expensive than the stealership) an AP2 Oem front lip and a AP1 Oem rear trunk spoiler.
I really like the look of the car with that lip.
In the upcoming weeks I will install the stock suspension with Tein spring which the previous owner gave me.
I will start the season with the T1R exhaust but i'm pretty sure I will get rid of it.. It really seems loud!
I might look for something less noisy after a couples of ride.
So here's a couple of pics of the the car, I took more when I will work on it. Also couples of my Nsx.
...And I hope spring will come early this year, I can't wait to hit the redline with that one!
