Default 2004 Berlina with red interior?

I'm just curious, the car I'm looking at is a MY04 Berlina from a reputible dealership near me, and everything seems perfectly fine with the car other than the strange interior color combo . I'm wondering if Berlina black was offered with red/black interior for 2004, and if not I guess the previous owner was in the process of converting it?

What do you guys think? I know black/red AP2 seats are hard to find and expensive, so I'd rather just stick with all black interior if I was to buy the car. Would it be difficult to find used black door inserts? I assume the switch wouldn't be that difficult to do. Help me if you can.

looks like he gave up halfway through the swap. Used door inserts pop up in the for sale forum from time to time, you could look at getting a pair there, then also since it doesnt really match, you might be able to use that as a thing to get theprice down some on the car as well. Im sure somone doing a red and black interior swap would trade you door insetrs though. Good luck.

Yeah, I'm thinking if I do buy the car I'm just gonna buy used door inserts. It's not that big of a deal but I would fix it.

Yea, what does the car fax say about the car? Does it have a clean history?
