It's only worth a premium price if you are also going to park it and keep the miles at 750. Otherwise, in a few years you'll have 30k on it and it will be the same value as any other 04. I see this happen with ducati's a lot, as there are a LOT of people buying 30k bikes and never riding them a mile.

I would say low 20's is fair.

That is a very good point. And you are right. it would get very few miles if I bought it. It would be more for show than drive but I imagine there is an mileage point that keeps it unique. That might be less than 1000 miles.

If i wanted a car more for show than driving, I'd think I'd look at something like a Datsun 1600 or decent Austin Healey 3000.

Well some more info. I stopped and looked again. I got the keys and started it. I like the sound of it and it started right up and ran good. Didn't drive it tho.
But they have moved it and 3 others they will sell next Thurs. One is a nice VW and is owned by the same guy. Btw, they do sell a car once in a while but it is quite rare. I have never seen more than one at any one time. I think there is a total of 5 next Thursday night.
May all be owned by the same guy for all I know.
When they moved them the Honda backed into something or something ran into it in the rear so now there is some paint work required on the bumper. Nothinc serious but its there.
Btw the guy is still alive but can't drive any longer.
But its not an undamaged car any longer.
The second thing and one I worried about is I am 6'4", 250# and not young any longer. It is very difficult to fold myself in that car.
Once in I think I could drive it but the clutch wouldn't be comfortable.
So I am rethinking why I would buy it. It now becomes a good deal that I might resell.
I am going to the auction and I will buy it if the price is right but I am not quite so gung ho as I was.
If anyone is interested I can give you the info and I think you can put in a proxy bid. They will bid the lowest bid each time until you win or reach your max bid.
Otherwise I will let you know what it went for and if I bought it. If someone does put in a bid, let me know and I won't bid over you unless someone else does first and you are out.
And thanks for all the comments. I do appreciate it.

Buy a C5 vette vert. You'll fit better for the same price range.

No warranty.......and too old to be certified. I wonder if the oil is original as well as very old gas? I bought my 05 certified with 8,000 miles in 07. I had 2 years full coverage and a 5 year warranty on the drive train. Never used the warranty except for the floor mats. S2000's did not get the extended power train warranty until 06.

C5 vette, C6 vette, or a Sky Redline or Solstice GXP - more room, for a casual car they would work, less $.

Try to steal it at a price below "reasonable". If (say) $18k is the number you like, then bid up to this number. If it goes higher, let it go. Anyone who buys at a reasonable price is only getting what they pay for. This is NOT a deal.

Would it start right up and run and idle smooth if the gas was that old?
Would't a dealer that serviced it change the oil? Would that be a big deal anyway? Oil doesn't wear out sitting.
What do you mean, certified?
Just wondering.
I once had an old 46' Chris Craft. When it was about 20 years old I wanted to install new engines.
I found a pair that was exactly what I had sitting on pallets from Chris Craft and were about 20 years old.
I bought them, installed them, started them with the original oil. The only problem was the coils that failed in a short time.
I put hundreds of hours on those engines without a single problem.

Here is a Carfax for the car. Note what the dealer did on the last report.
