I think 25k is way too much. For the same price you can get a newer s2000 with under 10000 miles.

Of course that is what you hope to do. But I don't want to get carried away either.
If I don't like it I would like to think I wouldn't lose much.
Just trying to get a feel for its worth. I know this isn't a normal car so there is no real value to put on it, just what someone thinks its worth.
Something that old with 750 miles kinda appeals to me for some reason.
Not $25,000 worth however. But again it might be to someone. We'll see.
Any other comments would be welcome.

If it sat their without regular maintenance like brake fluid (which corrodes the brakes from within) then there will be alot of hidden damage. I would not buy a car that old with much low mileage unless it was a supercar which owners tend to regularly maintain.

I would probably be ok with 23-27k. It's like a brand new car that's out of production.

It has had complete service at a Honda dealer within the past couple of weeks.
I don't see why brakes for example would be harmed.
I live in Florida in the winter and Michigan in the summer. I bought a new Ford diesel pickup in early 2000. It sat 7 months every year until last year when I sold it. It had 48,000 miles so it was driven but I never changed brake fluid on it and I never saw anything wrong with the brakes.
I have a 99 Dodge diesel in Michigan that I still have and it sits 7 months every year there also with nothing wrong with the brakes.
We travel 2 month a year if your adding months.
The car was garage kept here in Florida and personally I wouldn't be to concerned with much hidden damage based on my experience.
I don't know about gas and if it was started but it runs good now. I would be more worried about gas with alcohol than anything.
I really don't know what the guy did or planned to do with it. All I have been told is he bought it and then didn't drive it. Maybe he couldn't but he lived a long time after he bought it.
its a lot of money to just let set but as I said it has caught my attention as something you don't see every day.

It's only worth a premium price if you are also going to park it and keep the miles at 750. Otherwise, in a few years you'll have 30k on it and it will be the same value as any other 04. I see this happen with ducati's a lot, as there are a LOT of people buying 30k bikes and never riding them a mile.

I would say low 20's is fair. I bought my 04 a year old with 6k on it for just under 25. It should be priced in the same ballpark as a '08/09 with similar mileage, but still lower as it is many years older.

the brake fluid and clutch fluid will absorb moisture like a sponge from the surrounding environment. I really needs to be changed even on a stored vehicle

at auction, a steal to me would be $10 to 12K and anything less. It WILL sell for whatever the two prospective bidders think it should. and the local Honda dealer whose there will to bid it up.

i'll put money on it that the dealer didn't replace the tires with OEM. They spent as LITTLE AS POSSIBLE as they usually do.
