I was hoping that after 2003 or 2004 they would discontinue production of the s2k instead of introducing an 2nd gen S2k. Too stay with the rarity and all

Speak for yourself! I bought the car knowing it had plastic, and knowing if I waited a month I could have glass.

As for changes. I just don't care. Run out and buy a new one? Naw, only have 5000 miles on my 2001. Of course I also have four feet of snow in the front yard and a trecherous driveway.

Does 10,000 a year make it a "rarity?" I don't think enough so to affect prices and collectablility.

Just drive and have fun!

My guess is that the lineage of this car will more closely follow that of the NSX than the typical life-spans of the Civics, Accords, Integras, RSX's ... I predict minor changes. I'd be sorry to see Spa go, I think it's a hot color, but the addition of MC blue would be very !!

Keep us posted, airgate!

As long as they keep production numbers low, I'm happy.

Why get rid of one of the most popular colors they make? Doesn't make sense.

I'll believe it when I see it. I think the car either continues on as-is or it will be gone. It doesnt make any sense financially to redesign a car with a worldwide yearly distribution of maybe 15,000 units.

More likely scenario will be they drop the S2000, and bring back another sporty 2 door model (like a new Prelude) to fill the gap in the model line.

Honda should just lay down their trump card and put the "inline 5" that was in the concept.
