Default 2003 or 2004

I am a current AT RX8 owner that whishes I would have bought the MT RX 8. I have an opportunity to sell my 8 and really want to look more closely at the S2000 and 350Z before deciding if I want the MT RX 8, a 350Z or the S2000.

I just left the Honda dealers lot and they had 2 new S2000's on the lot. A 2004 and a 2003 which was discounted $3,500 less than the newer 04. I have read that the 04's have improvements in ride and handling over the previous model years. Are the changes substantial enough to justify paying the additional $3,500 for the 04?

Is Honda able to get sticker for the 04's?

I would appreciate your thoughts.

I was able to purchase my 04 for 30k. It is quite possible to buy below MSRP (or above invoice). I was happy with the deal since of all the dealerships I dealt with (about 7), the one that gave me the best deal was the one that was only 5 miles from my house (versus 25-60 miles).

Have fun!

if money is tight i would buy the 2003
if money is not a problem , then buy the new one
the new changes are quite good , id buy the new one and not feel giulty after buying it
you will be VERY happy with both though...go with the better color!

List the actual asking price they quoted and more help should come your way.
Heck, you can get a new 04 off this site for less than sticker.

The 04 listed for $33,290 and the 03 was $30,098. The lot was closed so I did not speak with a sales person. I had always heard that Honda does not come off of sticker.
How would I get one under sticker off of this site?

Here is one way http://sponsor.s2ki.com/adclick.php?adid=170

They aren't disconting the 03 much but I bet once you speak with them, a better deal will certainly be had. Also keep in mind some of us don't consider all the changes in 04 "upgrades"

If you decide to consider the 03 make sure it wasn't a demo with a lot of miles, abuse, etc.
