- 2001 models don't come with titanium shift knobs.
- The net on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel is standard on every S2000 even 2000 models. It's a map storage pocket.
- The nets behind the seats are dealer-installed options and do not come with the car.
- All S2000s made after MY2000 VIN number 5700 already have the wiring and contacts needed to support the defroster in the hardtop's rear window. MY2000 vehicles with VIN numbers earlier than 5700 need a special kit for the hardtop.
