I just don't want the new guys to be armed with false information.

 

I have a MY2001 and I was not told of the 5hp add. Don't know if the info is correct.

 

Just so it's clear..There is no additional HP in the 2001's The car, save for the Clock, some extras, like the winddeflector, and perhaps better speakers, are identical.

 

MY2000 are just better...they are "orrigional"...

MY2001 has type 2 coolant. MY2000 has type 1.

Not only does the MY2000 have a rev limited, the MY1992 Accord EX also has a rev limiter. Of course, I never found out about it until I got used to exploring the S2000's rev limiter and then went back to using my son't beater for the summer.

 

That difference is really just "in the noise" and is mostly likely attributed to different testing conditions (like temperature, etc.).

 

Not only does the 2001 MY have more horsepower, but if you set the clock and travel at 88 miles per hour you can travel back in time

 

2001 comes with standard titanium shift knob, floor mats, aeroscreen, and clock feature on the cd deck.
