Default 2001 S2K tranny
Is there something wrong with the 00-01 S2K transmission that they had to upgrade it on the 2002-2003 models?

Do an Advanced Search and you will find lots of info. Short, there is nothing majorly wrong - however, they upgraded to address some of the concerns.

Of course there is: no company ever improves a product unless the original version was seriously defective. It just isn't done.
