I did a search but did not find anything. My Brothers top got slashed in Philly (damn hoodlums) anyway, what better time to try.

I will keep you posted as to what We find out.
I know that it was discussed for just changing the window, but this is the whole top, Will it work?

The 2002 glass rear window will fit but you must replace the complete top and the complete frame, and the glass sits in the rear tray at an angle, not flat like the folding vinyl window. the glass takes more room so they had to modify the frame to get it to fold correctly. The only problem is the $$ for the complete top and frame. Probably almost as much as the hard top ($3,000 or more). There was a recent posting that linked to a Japanese owner who has done it. Good luck. Let us know what it ended up costing.

Actually, there was someone that did the retrofit. Mingster posted about it and it looks like it didn't require the framing to be replaced. I'll look for the link.

From reading all the related threads, it appeared that Infamous S2000 was going to have the whole soft top replaced with a '02's for $1,100. Unfortunately, his car just got stolen last night:

I received my new top last week but am still waiting for the frame. (frames are on backorder to Japan) There will be a wire harness kit to make the rear defog work but that is still months away.

I'll post when I have done the retrofit and let you know how it goes.

That's cool that a wire harness kit is in the works for the defogger - also good news for people who want to get the hardtop but don't want to deal with the defogger switch on the center console....
