I just bought a pair of 00-01 Inner door panels Black with red leather. I drive an My02 S2K with black on black inner panels. Will these things fit perfectly? My02 has the Tweeter grills and a Net. I dont need that net cause i never use it. I am planning on installing Boston acoustics Compoment door speakers and dirlling a hole in the 00-01 door panels for the tweeters. will i run into any problems?

I can't tell you for sure. You should post this in the Electronics forum.. most of the EJ's (Electronics Junkies) have had their door panels off.

I am pretty sure that they are a straight swap....just remove the panels (should be 3 screws and some snaps), and unclip the wires to the windows / door locks. There have been a lot of MY00-03 converted to MY04-05's.....I think they are pretty much a direct swap out.

MY00 panels are thicker, so shoulder room will take a hit.

that is what I thought....but maybe they didnt change until the AP2....

I think it didn't change till AP2 (MY04-06)

I've had a MY01 and now a MY03.

shoulder room is identical. The panel is identical save for the tweeter hole.

Just swap the inner panel out and use the '02 outer panel with the red '00 inner panel. That way you don't have to drill new holes for the tweeters.
