Talking 2 S2000 engines mated to one tramission possible?

Probably a silly question - is it possible to mate to 2 S200 engines to a transmission and put it in a car? Is it possible? easy hard? inprobable or impossible?

This question may have been asked before - just didn't come up in the search that I saw.

Thanks in advance.

Inline? V?

Anything can be done with a ton of money and custom-fab work. You might aswell just buy another while S2000 b/c it will be cheaper.

I was thinking about this also. I don't really know all that much about motors but i was thinking with the help of computers this may be great way to produce power. Basically have a f20 motor for each rear wheel and have the computer make sure both of them are spinning exactly the same.

If you did this you would also need to answer questions about your drivetrain. Could this possibly remove the need for a differential? Would you use two clutches?

I'd like to hear from more knowledgable gear heads.

You would end up,with a 4.0L V-8,putting out 480 BHP.

You were thinking about this too? The two of you should get together and market whatever it is you guys are smoking, because that's got to be good stuff. First of all how the hell are you going to fit it in the car? Anything is possible mechanically with the right amount of money. But that'd be a serious waste of money and time.

Nice thought but, somehow I doubt that it would be 480hp. I guess we'll see what IS possible when the new nsx is avail.
