You're going to rip into a completely new and perfect engine and modify it with the stroker kit? Why not just supercharge it and the add the stroker kit once you're getting up there in mileage?
Hmmm...I've had my car for about 3 months now...not too much is still stock...and I've voided every warranty. A supercharger will not be available for an MY06 S2000 until the 2007 timeframe. I am not going to wait that long for increased power...I've done as many power mods as I can possibly do at this point.

I bet you five bucks the supercharger is ready for the '06 before the stroker kit is.
Care to up that bet? Comptech has been working on a supercharger for the MY06 Civic Si for almost 6 months now. They are still months away from being finished. They already have an MY06 S2000 to develop a supercharger, but they won't begin the effort until they are done with the Civic Si. Now, granted that they will be able to leverage a lot of what was done on the Civic Si, they will still have several months of R&D. Welcome to 2007.

I know the guy who has his car at Comptech being fitted for the '06 supercharger and they are very close to being done. There's no way it will be 2007.

PM me if you want more info. Hell, call Comptech - it's not a secret.

I have very close ties with Hondata, who have very close ties with Comptech. Not trying to argue with you, but your information is false.
What part of my info is incorrect?

The fact that they are very close to being done with the S2000. They haven't even started.

He did mention an 06 was in the shop being fitted with a header airbox and exhaust he did not mention the supercharger but i did not ask. I was inquiring about numbers for the header on the 2.2 mill. He said they look good but would have to get back to me for specifics. I have also found a fantastic source for Comptech on the Web. I was quoted about $5100 for the supercharger kit. $339 for the intake shipped to my door. Pretty competitive or so it seems.

Call Hardtopguy and see if he can quote you a lower price.

Oh well, I guess the guy I know and Comptech are putting on an elaborate lie to mislead people about the development of the supercharger for the 2006.

BTW...if Comptech is developing a 2.4L stroker kit, how come they don't identify it on their "Under Development" portion of their website?
