Rubbing is largely determined by the tire size and type you use. Do the math and compare the effective total diameter and width and compare to stock. That being said, that is an awefully large and wide wheel to use with a 55 offset. It is no doubt very heavy. While each has his own style, I believe the heavy 19's will look imbalanced on a small short wheelbase car like the S2000.

I am running 235/35 19's with these wheels .. Do you think I need a higher offset. the rims are custom so I can choose the offset ?

I am running 19x8 in the front and 19x8.5 in the rear. My offsets in the front are 55mm and the rear is 60mm. I have no rubbing problems, but I am not sure if the 19x8.5 will rub. I am running 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 size tires and run canyons and drive hard alot with no problems.

Infamous, i believe that air walker has a 3 piece 19 set as well. i think the front is a 19 x 8 though. check with tim, i m sure he knows the offsets of what will work and what wont. you might want to look into staggering the wheels in addition to the tires.

Don't larger tires mess up the reading on the speedo?

I have a lot of people asking me about my wheels, so here is a link to a group buy Import Development was having on these wheels, maybe Mingster can work out a good deal again.
