Keep them conditioned. Heat is bad for leather especially direct sunlight with the top down.

I got this technique for getting out of the seat without putting any pressure on the side bolsters. You lift your butt up with your hands, one on the center console and the other on the side skirt, then you rotate 90 degress .... or whatever, I'm weird.

That's about the same as what I do. Left hand on the sill-plate and hop in/out without even really touching the bolsters. I get the idea that the previous owner did something similar because at 94,000km, the seats still look very new.

Can you buy just the foam for the seats? I have 65K on mine and the leather is still pretty good but the bolster is flat on the side closest to the door.

leather conditioner can greatly improve the seats, never 100% tho

miles: look at the dash, ask for a car fax, call the dmv
