Default 15k miles, seats are creased...scam?

I am looking to buy a used 03 s2000 with 15k miles on it. Seems like really low miles, it is from a dealership. The seats show creasing in the pictures.

I have never owned leather seats before... would they crease with only 15k miles on them? Or does a persons body weight determine this?

Thanks

A persons weight and sitting habits will be the cause, my seats looke like new and I had 40K miles the last time I saw them.

yeah, the leather quality isn't the greatest but one thing i noticed w/ my seats is they started creasing b/c the way i was engaging the clutch relative to my seating position. I simply moved the seat foward a notch so my leg wouldn't push against the seat as much everytime i changed gears and that seemed to help. Also it's very important that u condition the leather otherwise it'll get dry and more prone to cracking.

Also how a person gets in and out of the car makes a big difference on the bolsters, both side and bottom. If they are careful about getting in OVER the bolster, it will look a lot newer. If they just slide in like most people do into "normal" seats, they will get worn very quickly.

Where are the creases in the seats? Early creasing in the driver's side seat bolster is very common. Indeed, it is common to a degree or another in all cars with full leather seating surfaces. The degree of creasing is not a function of miles, but is a function of how many times the car has been entered and exited. If the creasing appears greater than expectable in a 15K mile car, it could be because the former owner made a large number of short trips, rather than a small number of long trips. Creasing is also a function of whether the seats were properly conditioned during the former ownership.

Exactly
I've had fours S's
All but the new one suffered from the bolster failing, all were under 20k miles.
My current car had the seat replaced under warranty at 10k miles.

My passenger seat has creases everywhere, and my drivers seat is immaculate. 8k miles.

Funny thing is, I almost never drive people. Shows you how much I love my S!

Maybe the previous owner didn't take good care of them.
