Personally, I think that is pretty good considering how hot it was. Your mph could be a little higher since you trapped at only 94, meaning shift faster.
2.1 60ft is awesome on an S2000. With that 60 foot, I think you will be in the 13s when the temperature is cooler.

I've never once hit the rev limiter in my car so I had now Idea it blinks 5 times. I usually shift right before or after 1 blink. Honestly, I must be shifting at 8700 rpm or so. Thank You very much. Now I have something new to try.

Can someone please explain to me the satisfaction of beating one's car to the point where a low # is more important than the car's longevity? Even when I had my Camaro SS, I couldn't figure it out.
Is going in a straight line THAT much fun? I went to the track a few times but to be honest, after a run or two, it just dawned on me that this Point A to Point B thing was about as exciting as eating pre-chewed peanut brittle. I know there are thousands of owners who crave this type of action and its certainly no attack on you GS, but for those hell-bent on pounding out a Motor Trend-matching sub 13-second time, is it for bragging rights on a web site or something deeper that completely flys over my head?
I come from a generation where straight-line racing was damn near all there was out there but once I found myself on a road course (Alfa GTV-6) twisting my right foot from one pedal to the other, one hand on the wheel and one on the Momo, man....it was like finding my first Playboy.
Not a knock, just an observation. Whatever path you choose, enjoy it!

I'm not knocking the choice of asphalt but I'm trying to get inside the heads of those that love this stuff. Is it the thrill of the run itself, the anticipation at the tree, the tension to see what the timeslip reads? I can see where there are factors which would make it fun but for this car at least, and me, the negatives (parts are so expensive) far outweigh that one great timeslip. It could take me 20 runs to get a mid 13-second pass (I'm not stock and Canada has a nice cool-weather track...good combo) but for those strangers to a racetrack, visit a road course for the first time and I guarantee you passing that first car that is supposed to be, by all accounts, much quicker than yours....well, that is like seeing a woman undress for the first time. You'll never forget the feeling.
